A top radio station will be hosting a musical event. The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson has quoted "London will bring in 2010 with a bang, a glittering explosion across the midnight sky. We want to show to the world that we are looking forward to the future with the optimism and energy that characterises our capital and makes it the most exciting city on earth."
London’s New Year’s Day Parade crowns the capital’s festive season, you don’t want to miss this.
With more than 10,000 performers from 20 countries world-wide it’s an event to be seen. Showcasing a variety of acrobatics, dances, cheerleaders, musicians and performers gather in the heart of London for celebrations. Youngsters from Japan, the US and Europe will entertain for 3 fun filled hours of frivolity.
Many of London’s museums will be open on New Year’s Day so maybe take in the Science museum that is within walking distance from some of our sites.
